JUST AS SIGHT IS SIMILARLY PRECIOUS, YOU ARE SOMEONE, MOST CHERISHED AND ENDEARING, ABOVE OTHERS
|
She grew up willful,
obstinate and proud.
Sometimes her voice gets a little too loud.
Refrain: She brings me daisies
in the spring, Roses all seasons,
Red rosy apples, for very special reasons.
She’s brave and strong and looks at one
straight. She’s almost always just a hair late.
(Refrain)
She’s beautifully comely with dark hair and
impish eyes. A willow-the-wisp that won’t
be caught by any number of guys.
(Refrain)
She likes crisp fried chicken and my apple pie,
Plump bits of chocolate in her cookie, and
a bright hot sky.

(Refrain)
Her music loud and rocky or soft as a sigh,
And a road winding long, swiftly speeding by.
(Refrain)
Sweet and sentimental, she cries oceans deep,
Over anything romantic or touching she’ll weep.
(Refrain)
At times she can be timid and just a wee bit shy,
But once you get to know her, you’ll find her
wit and charm hard to get by.
(Refrain)
Bright and sassy and talented, too.
Tenderly loving, thoughtful in things she’ll do.
She’s our daughter and quite a gal,
Her father’s tomboy and my pal.
Refrain:
