National Bird: Tocororo or Cuban Trogon (Priotelus temnurus,
Trogonidae family); it is endemic to Cuba.

National Flower: Flor de Mariposa Blanca (White Butterfly Flower),
named as such due to its similarity with a flying white butterfly.
This particular species is incredibly fragrant. Otherwise known as
the White Ginger Lily (Hedychium coronarium) is originally from the
Himalayas region of Nepal and India.
